Default Employee Manuel/Handbook

i recently started my own business and am looking for a generic employee manuel/handbook to give to my employees. Does anyone know where i can find a "fill in the blank" handbook - maybe w/the Dept. of Labor or some other organization?

Google can usually help you find what you need. Here's a few that I found.

http://www.socrates.com/business-leg...mployment.aspx

Another idea might be to borrow a copy of one from another businessperson that you know and then just adapt for your needs.

I can't recommend this too much. It is in doc format and you can edit to fit your needs. I've used it several times over 20 years (CP/M, DOS & Windows)and and would not use anything else. The link takes you to a main page, just click on the Employee Manual Builder.

The site I like the best is inexpensive and I have the utmost confidence in the material. I have used it many times and with many different companies. It is:

http://www.theemployeemanual.com/ and they have a sister site that has a Corporate Kit.

http://www.thecorporatekit.com/

The cost I think is 19.95

a few euros spent for a good employer/employee relationship is all worth it.
